Cottages Along Rice Lake

Elmhirst's Resort offers 30 waterfront cottages on 240 acres along Rice Lake. Each cottage has a private outdoor deck, whirlpool tub, and kitchenette with stovetop, full-size refrigerator, and dishwasher. The cottages are pet-friendly and include a flat-screen TV.

Farm-to-Table Dining

The resort's working farm supplies fresh-picked organic vegetables for the Hearthside Dining Room. The Wild Blue Yonder Pub offers casual dining with a full-service bar and big screen TV. A wine cellar and farm products like maple syrup, honey, and cider are available on site.

Outdoor Recreation and Family Fun

Guests can use complimentary kayaks, canoes, and bicycles to explore Rice Lake and the property's hiking and biking trails. A giant floating playground on the lake provides water-based fun for children. Other activities include a private beach area, tennis court, archery, and a games room.

Elmhirst's Resort holds Gold level compliance with Sustainable Tourism 2030 and uses solar energy on its main building. The resort operates its own farm producing maple syrup, honey, cider, eggs, and meat. Guests are asked to sort waste at a central station to support the resort's recycling and composting efforts.
